I don't have kids don't misunderstand me I have watched some kids who are absolutely calm and patient they are great and perfect the kind of kids I hope for if I ever have them! I guess one of the reasons I'm so bitter towards them is because I was told I most likely will never have a child.

when they are young enough to control it is their fault they need to stop letting kids dictate to what they do i do admit that they should know better sometimes than have their kids out when they are extremely tired or sick because thats just acting for trouble but a little discipline has never hurt anyone! i got in time outs all the time and am a behaved person i get good compliments i am 15 years old parents need to show their authority now and make their kids respect them a good slap across the mouth or face has never hurt one personally parents who let their children act like apes and hooligans well they need the whooping more than others!

~Oh right, it's always the parents fault how their kids turn out. Check back here when you have raised a few of your own.

And to GND ARMS DEALER: Your kids are 2 and 5. Don't brag yet. Start bragging when they're adults. You're at the easy stage of parenthood.

I understand what you mean but unfortunately, once God was removed from our public schools and laws were passed to prevent child abuse, it has become a challenge to discipline children.

No, children should not be swearing at their parents or guardians. That is unacceptable.

On the flip side, it's annoying to shop with children especially if they are not trained or they are hungry or tired. These folks don't pay attention to their children's needs and therefore, terrorize the rest of the population.

I always tried to leave my son's with someone whenever I had to shop for food or whatever else, because the marketing in the stores have toys and goodies strategically placed on lower shelves for them to pick and heckle the parents into purchasing them cereal or some new toy.

I never let my boys disrespect me. One is twenty-three now and he knows that I will still stand up to him if he ever goes out of line. My eleven year old has had a little testosterone test and I let him know that if he don't like the way I do things that he can go out and see what the world is really like.

Needless to say, he changed up and checked himself.

I'm not playing that.

Absolutely. We have a so called christian family down the road who's kids are rude and destructive. They have beat my son up and are at the moment in a demolish on mode to destroy a tree near our fence. They are rude and horrible, but when I or my husband talks to their mother, who is there most of the time she does the dumb blonde thing and says awww its ok. My husband and I are loosing our patience. I feel like I want to pop the dumb b i t c h in the face and report her kids to the police. My husband wants to do something worse because they just don't listen. But I can calm down and look at this way, we are going to send the cops up there next time and see how she explains her kids to them. How can society let these kind of people breed?
You cant get mad at the kids. They are kids and I am sure you were one in the past too and probably threw a temper tantrum or two in your kid years.
There are parents that try their best, by trying to guide their children threw life to become responsible and happy adults. Then there are parents that pop them out and let them run loose.
If you don't want kids that is your choice but dont try to take it out on good parents and good kids.
From a parent that aint perfect but tries to be a responsible and caring parent.
Look sweet heart I don't disaplin my kids so they look good to others I do it for them. Try to teach them patience and understanding, but a parent of a 3 year old and probably a tired parent, sometimes bribes are the best to get out of there to stop being imbarraced. You can not judge a parent on one incident. Look at us, these kids have been tormenting our kids and us for about 2 years now. Parents are human too, but they need to stand up and show their kids a pathway of selfcontrol. That is all I am trying to say. Some parents do and some parents just let the kids rule the roost. I don't. I rule here even above my husband sometimes because I have more self control than he does.

My kids may throw fits from time to time--but never like that. I hope that I'm raising them better than that. I didnt like kids much because that very thing until I had my own. It makes a difference when you are a decent parent.

my patience does, especially b/c it's the parents fault!!! People are too politically correct with their kids. My kids always get great compliments when we're out and in restaurants, my kids 2 and 5 are not the hooligans!

Most of the times it is the parent's fault because they just don't take the time to teach their children how to behave. It's much easier to give in to them. I also have no patience for that kind of child and find it a royal pain to be around them. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I agree with you parents do not discipline there children any more. And it does annoy me when I go out and all I hear is nothing but screaming kids. People that can't discipline there children shouldn't be parents.

Yes. I am one of the most impatient people. I hate waiting in lines, I hate waiting on people to move... but ever since I became a mother my patience has been improving. That is a very good thing!
