Unless you are going clubbing or to a rock concert, wear shadows in the same color group - green with greens, blues to blues, purple with purples.
You can also match colored shadows with neutrals - brown, gray, black.
Pinks look good with brown, gray, or black; but if brown is added then liner should be dark brown.

They DO NOT have to match. I just wore a green like you mentioned today. I paired it with light gray liner. When I wear a colored eyeshadow I usually don't put on eye liner really heavy. When I wear pink eyeshadow (I usually wear a light pink) I pair it with a light brown, gold, and sometimes with liquid sparkly eyeliner. With brown eyeshadow I wear brown eyeliner or gold. Mix up the eyeliner and see what looks best with certain colors.
Oh and what eyeliner would look best with the forest green liners...hmm you could be boring and match it with a lighter green or try something like a tan or gold.

hi there well actually it is up to you if you want to match it it could match but for a more spontaneous look it will be best to mix colors for a more soft look matching them will look good. oh and the color liners that goes best with pink and brown is brown for green i think like a forest green ..maybe like a shimery color will look good with forest green not really sure but hope i helped good luck

No you don't have to match eyeliners with eyeshadows. I always use brown/black eyeliner and smudge it. I also put blue in the inside of my eye because it makes my eyes brighter. But black,gray,brown/black eyeliner will go with any eye shadows.

no they dont have 2 match, in fact i never match my eyeliner with my eyeshadow. darkbrown and black eyeliners pretty much go with any color eyeshadow. MAC is my favorite brand, they have plenty of colors to choose from and the makeup stays on all day.

i dont make mine match and they still look good so no you dont have to make them match. as far as the eyeliner goes i think that pink eyeshadow would look good with green eyeliner

i personally think that wearing unmatching colors is fun and cute i love wearing blue and orange or purple and other random colors!! so i think you should unmatch!

I don't care what anyone says or how it's applied, any eyeliner other than black or dark brown is all wrong.
