Traveling toward eacher other from 1500 miles apart:
45 + 75 = 120
1500/120 = 12.5
45 * 12.5 = 562.5 (miles covered @45 mph)
75 * 12.5 = 937.5 (miles covered @ 75 mph)

Answer is either 562.5 or 937.5 mark depending on your reference.

You need to give the direction you and they are travelling. Are you travelling in the same direction or opposite direction.
If you are travelling in the opposite direction the sum of distance covered by the two of you in 1 hour will be 45 + 75 = 120 miles per hour, 120 miles in 1 hour there fore 1500/120 = 12.5 hours are required to cover 1500 miles. You will meet in 12.5 hours.
