I have a Prius and love it! I'm averaging 60 mpg and it's not even broken in yet. All I did was add extra air to the tires. It's so fun to drive and it completely spoils me. The smart-key system never requires you to have a key in your hand--it's very convenient. It's such a great, well-equipped all-around car with lots of cool features.

It has plenty of power, and the hatchback design is very versatile. With the back seats folded down, it's easy to put bikes or musical instruments inside. There's also storage under the trunk floor. The trunk floor can be removed to fit taller items in the trunk.

The reliability is excellent, and there is very little maintenance. The timing chain has no replacement interval, the high-voltage batteries are designed to last the life of the car, there is no alternator, power steering pump, or transmission. The brakes last forever because they are hardly ever used....the regenerative brakes in the drivetrain do most of the braking while recharging the traction battery.

It's a really amazing car--I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I have a hybrid Honda, and would never buy another hybrid. Underpowered, and will never recover the cost on fuel savings.
