7.50 x 1000= 7500, right? so how do i apply significant figures to this? is this enough for the answer?

Those are the figures that you have: 7.5 & 1,000 as multiplicand and multipliers, respectively. In fact, the product 7,500 wouldn't exist without them. The product here is just an additional data element emanating from 7.5, 1,000 and the multiply operations. I think there's nothing more to that. What you have will suffice.

7.50 x 1000 = 7500, yes. It has 2 significant figures. You assume 7.50 is the measurement, the 7 and the 5 are significant, the 0 tells you it was rounded to the nearest hundredth.

If you want 1 Sig fig. Its rounded up to 8000
If you want 2 sig figs and above. It remains the same as 7500.
