This is so we can charge our cell phone. It is just like the cigarette adapters in cars.

Same question listed below. If you know where the accessory terminal is, you can use that instead of going direct to the battery.

If you know basic electricity and you can figure out what is the plus and minus. You can cut the clamps off the adapter and use a ring connector to tap your battery.

WARNING IF YOU DON'T KNOW BASIC ELECTRONICS YOU CAN FRY WHAT YOU CONNECT TO IT. BE CAREFUL HOW THE WIRES HANG. STRAP DOWN WIRES THAT CAN GET TANGLED.

Adding a fuse is a good idea but 30 amps???!!!!
I think thats too large. If you have a car with a lighter socket, trace it back to the fuse and that will be your guide line for fuse size. You might be able to go smaller because I don't think a cell phone charger will draw that much current, read manual or charger to find the current drain.

I put mine up near the risers & ran a 16 guage wire with a 30 amp inline fuse direct to the battery. if you dont use it as a lighter you can probably use a smaller wire& hook into any hot accessory wire with out tripping a circut breaker.
