I haven't seen a good comedy in years, but I used to love the Police Academy movies.

The funniest movies I ever saw were the ones done in the 1920's and 30's by Harold Lloyd. He was a born comedian and a gifted athlete who did his own stunts. To my knowledge these movies are not generally available to the public since the copyrights are locked up by his heirs.

The movies are classics and I wish everyone could see them.

1982's "My Favorite Year" with Peter O'Toole. After that, comedies became "excrush*" until Will Ferrel made the scene.
