I saw them this past Sunday in Ohio! They rocked the show...it was unlike anything I've ever seen. I also don't think I've ever laughed so much during a concert (in between some songs they had little cartoon skits). I'll give you an example of one of them...

I usually don't like the show South Park, but I laughed with everyone else at the little thing they had of it. There were 3 of the little cartoon kids (don't know their names) pretending to be Rush. They were playing Tom Sawyer, but the lyrics were wrong...the cartoon pretending to be Alex slapped the one pretending to be Geddy on the back of the head and said "What are you doing stupid? Those aren't the lyrics!" and the cartoon Geddy said "Yes, Tom Sawyer went down the river on a raft with a black man. I read the freaking book!" and cartoon Alex then replied "That wasn't Tom Sawyer you idiot, that was Huckleberry Finn!!". Cartoon Geddy said "I'm Geddy and I'll sing it how I want" and cartoon Alex then said "Just sing it right." (I can't remember everything they said and how they said it of course...but that was the gist of it) Then cartoon Neil banged his drumsticks 3 times and the screen went blank and the lights went up and there was the real RUSH!!! I know it doesn't sound that funny, but it was wild...

Aside from all the funny, their concert had a real meaning to it. This tour is to promote Snakes and Arrows, which has a great message of faith. This concert was one I'll never forget. I saw fireworks, literally and figuratively.

My favorite song? That's tough....Lessons I guess.

I found a clip of the Tom Sawyer skit I was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gVrX9H44J8

One of my all time favorite 3-piece bands!
I've seen them in concert at least a dozen times since the mid 70's. The first time was at Massey Hall in Toronto.
Most recently? That would be in 1982!
Favorite songs? Too many to mention, though here's a few that would be in my top 10:
YYZ
The Fountain of Lamneth
Finding My Way
Lakeside Park
Witch Hunt
A Passage to Bangkok
La Villa Strangiato
Making Memories
Working Man
Red Barchetta

Oh and 'Jinjer S'... Mahogany Rush and Rush had absolutely nothing to do with one another. The only thing they had in common was the fact that they were/are two great Canadian bands.

To the 1st answer; saying the members of Rush are 42 is a real compliment, and I think they'd appreciate your kindness!
Truth be known, they're all in their mid 50's.

BOC is substantial. Rush is substantial. those bands existed in an exciting time in my adolescents interior the 70s. Zeppelin, Floyd, ELO, a brilliant style of bands have been very orientated to longer songs and are each sometimes stated as album rock. an entire album replaced into like a musical e book. You had an entire album not purely one or 2 songs to take heed to and with Floyd you had the finished album element you heard. till now CDs some albums replaced the order of songs to in wonderful condition them on tapes. 8 music tapes each sometimes clicked in mid music!!! Wow we've each thing in a row on CDs with out flipping over! we are fortunate! MRS WIZARD could desire to be somewhat youthful SHE called IT OLDIES!!!! WOW!!! Oldies are the 50s not the 70s! From the late 60s Beatles to the early 80s we had some super musicians and albums and we known because it classic ROCK guy! It nonetheless policies!
