Honestly, I think I did.
When I was three, our street flooded and I got my foot trapped in a pothole in the pavement. I remember seeing myself struggle and after a minute not being scared until a neighbor saw I had not come up and rescued me.
Maybe it is just a fuzzy memory, but it is real.

I did, for a few minutes.
I saw my body as I was floating.
Going higher and higher until I realised I should have hit the ceiling and I did not, still going higher and higher and seeing my body getting smaller and smaller.
Then I went back because I had kids to take care of.
Next time, maybe...hopefully...I will choose the light.

almost once. very tragic. horrible cheese accident. the cheese....didn't make it. luckily for me, i survived with only a mild concusion and a few broken bones..
