Of those you mention, Minnesota has the best economics department (it has a top ten program) -- but all are good.

The best economics programs are MIT, University of Chicago, Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, University of Minnesota, Princeton and Stanford.

Other schools with excellent economics departments include UCLA, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan and Duke University.

Wisconsin and Washington are pretty close to the second group.

Looking at business as a whole, Texas offers two of the best quality schools in the nation.

Take a look at McCombs School of Business at University of Texas - Austin or Rice University in Houston, TX.

Congrats on getting a 3.85 so far, with that score you might want to try Emory University or Sloan School of Business at M.I.T.
