ok, that's not really the question...

I want to know why is it that if a person asks for help and some sympathy from you all, then some of the responders attack the person with statements like "get off the internet" or "you are a loser to react like this"?

Is it right on their part to make such comments? I don't think they are, but what disturbs me is the fact that their responses get a lot of thumbs-up, an not that many thumbs-down. Why is this so?

no, it's not right.

But if someone is asking for sympathy or help on the internet, you have to admit that their problems probably run rather deep.

I have noticed that there are an awful lot of very "I need attention" people on here.

It's not right for people to be out right rude to others though.

As for the thumbs thing. That's just a power trip for some, mostly because it's all the power they actually have.

Because the people who make those comments are jerks, and the people who give the thumbs up think its funny, which its not. They should recieve thumbs down. Watch my reply gets a thumbs down because its not funny.
