My son. He always loved most veggies but he hated broccoli, brussel sprouts and peas. My husband is not too much better. I use to try to make him eat his veggies, but sometimes when my back was turned my husband use to take his veggies and my son's and put it in a paper towel and throw it away.

My step son will not eat anything but junk at home. So when he comes here it is always a battle getting him to eat his no thank you spoon full. He is SO dramatic about it. Like we are killing him. He is 12. My 3 year old I am lucky with. His favorite food is broccoli! He loves his veggies. So there is never a problem.
Sometimes I feel like I am forcing my husband. I make sure he tries new things. You only live once! And he can be quite the baby too!

No! Do you think I want someone to hate me or something!!
When I married my current husband, his young son (18) hated vegetables and anything green. He hated peach fuzz too. I tried to make the vegetables different so that they tasted better to him, but he still didn't like them. One day I was making spaghetti sauce when he came home and witnessed that I put onion in it. He refused to eat the spaghetti with us for dinner.
Finally he met a lady who turned him on to vege's and now he will eat them all the time. True love prevailed!

I have a 2 year old grandson in my care who HATES vegetables and I make him eat at least one spoon full. It is absolute TORTURE for him, but he eats it. I tell him just the one spoonful and I will let it go. I try a variety of ways to make it more palatable, but it has been to no avail. He DOES like them raw...but they have to be in thin, thin strips. But forcing him, no. FORCE FEEDING, that is cruel. I believe it is even a punishable offence and considered cruelty.

particularly check out the links provided via Flute. Guinea pigs can consume very almost any vegetable or fruit sparsely! the only issues to steer clean from fruit & vegetable-smart are grapes, bananas (so i've got at present discovered), and iceberg lettuce. i does no longer feed them watermelon rinds, they does in comparison to them. they might delight in a small piece of the watermelon itself as a take care of once or twice each week!

Sure, all you have to do is puree them and add them to soup, stews, meatloaf, casseroles, almost anything and they mostly go unnoticed by my family.
They would all be malnourished if I didn't do that. Thank goodness for the Magic Bullet!
