As far as I know, it's not unsafe. It just makes some guys and girls uncomfortable. I don't think it'll hurt anything though.

Unsafe in what regard? Don't count on it as birth control, and you can still get an STD, so I'd say it's unsafe to have UNPROTECTED sex period or not.

From what I have heard it is not unsafe to have intercourse while on your period. Unless you and your bf feel uncomfortable.

Yes as far as I know, your period is the time when your system flushes out the unfertilised egg but I was told that it could be flushed any time during your menstruation. Even if it was safe or unsafe use a condom anyway cause if you don't get pregnant you could still catch something.

It's not unsafe at all. Unless of course you are having sex with a random person then yes it's unsafe - sex with a random person is unsafe anyway!

If you are with one person only, then it's perfectly fine. If you are just having a "fling" or have a new boyfriend, I wouldn't recommend it.

It is not unsafe; however, you still need to use protection because you *can* get pregnant while on your period.

no but it is kinda gross. If you just gotta have it during that time of the month do it in the shower so you can clean yourself and so can he. Your body is trying to get rid of that stuff so its not all that great to shove it all back up there :)

If you don't use a condom and are not sure your partner is monogamous it's always unsafe.
