My husband and I are trying to conceive. . . We thought we were pregnant. All the classic EARLY signs. Tired, Sensitive to smells, easily nauseated but not sick. But then I started what I assumed was my period. (It lasted for only two days although it was a normal flow) It has completely stopped for two days now and I have taken a preg test. It came back negative. I had no pain associated with my period just some normal very mild cramping. My husband is asking me all kinds of questions like could that have been a miscarriage instead of a period. And Could you be pregnant and that's why it stopped? Any advice for me as to what I should think. Thanks for your help.

Without doing an exam no one can tell you what happened. It could have been a loss, a short period, implantation bleeding but you are not yet producing enough hormone to get a positive, anything!!!

Never pay attention the those early, two week wait signs, they are always misleading and disappointing. PMS and early pregnancy and so similar.

If you have been ttc for a yr then see a dr. otherwise keep at it!!! Good luck and baby dust

Its definately possible that you were pregnant, but those symptoms can easily be associated with pms too. There is a chance you had implantation bleeding which lasts for a day or two. I would wait another week and take another test. If it comes back negative then I would guess you are not pregnant. Unfortunately you may never know if it was a miscarriage or if it was just a stange period. I wish you all the luck as I know exactly what you are going through

It could have been implantation bleeding or a normal period. The thing is that you dont feel the classic early signs you mention until about a month after you have missed your period, so you may have just been experiencing PMS. I would go and see your doctor, but he/she will just tell you to wait 3-4 weeks and then if you miss your period again take a pregnancy test. Good Luck, I hope you get pregnant soon!!

definite that's achieveable to miscarry that early. Alot of girls have miscarriages and not even understand approximately it because of the fact it is so on the component to their era. however the final thank you to appreciate is have a blood try accomplished to learn the HSG ranges and in the event that they're intense than 3 that's advantageous and decrease than 3 adverse. purely tell your often used practitioner you opt for for a blood try. I did that and are available to be sure i replaced into pregnant and miscarried. Then after that I had 2 different late miscarriages. Now i'm intense threat with my son purely like i replaced into with my daughter. yet reliable success. i'm hoping you already know what i'm saying

Perhaps it was implantation bleeding, although I don't think it should be heavy if it was. I would try another pregnancy test in a few days. Your Beta levels should double each day if you are pregnant, so a hpt could detect if your pregnancy hormone is present fairly easily. GOOD LUCK! I know what it's like to hope and hope to be pregnant.....I am going through the same thing right now!

Miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy without obvious cause before the 20th week. About 15 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

But the actual number is probably much higher because many miscarriages occur so early in pregnancy that a woman doesn't even know she's pregnant.

If you think you are still pregnant you should see your OBGYN. Let him know your symptoms and circumstance. Everyones body is different.

Good luck .....
