I was driving a 1964 Volkswagen Bug in the field at age 14 nearly rolled it over too. You will get the hang of the clutch and get used to changing into neutral so you don't have to hold the clutch in. Next Holding posistion on hills as you let the clutch out. Good luck

Unless 14 is a LEGAL driving age in your area, this is not a good idea. Practice makes perfect, if it is legal, keep trying and keep an open mind. Think of it this way, if you royally screw up the transmission or clutch you'll gain some great knowlegde on replacing those components!

All of the driving manuvers require skill and practice---millions of new drivers have got to realize this. We were all new at one time--and lots don't do very well until they keep practicing--before you know it--everything becomes second nature and you just drive along like a pro. Driving is an adult mature job--take it seriously and drive with caution at ALL times.Don't abuse a vehicle--service it and watch your speed---it is all in the attitude. Remember--there are laws against everything--don't drive like a jerk. Good luck to you

I did the same. Don't feel bad. It takes a while to get used to it. Try again and eventually you'll get the hang of it. Good luck.
