I don't know what the world is coming to or maybe I just haven't noticed how its been. Today in class we were discussing the Michaels Vicks situation and they're were some people standing up for him saying that fighting dogs its like fighting cocks for entertaintment etc. so Michael Vicks should just be left off the hook. Especially this guy who said "its not like he killed humans, they're just dogs" "No one cared about this stuff before, just because its Michael Vicks they're making a big deal." He just made me so MAD, he kept going with his little comments. I don't even know what to call these kind of people. I don't care if its Michael Vicks or whoever to me its wrong! They should be prosecuted. Its why these dogs are so vicious we can't continue to see this as normal! I want to hear your opinions either if you agree or not. Thanks!

Tell him he needs to realize that what makes the world go round are all the species in sync! They don't exist for nothing!
It's these type of people that worsen the earth's conditions.

I totally agree! It so ridiculous how people are treating animals. I haven't heard about this case, but animals should be treated the same as any other living thing. We need to learn to respect what we have. Dogs are only viscous because of their owners (most of the time), so they should not be punished for human error. I wish people would just understand things like this! It's so horrible sometimes :( Makes me so upset and angry...

I have a response for the 1st guy that answered...
Stock animals and domesticated animals are 2 different things. It's not the "same thing as eating meat".
Anyway, some people are just unintelligent pieces of scum! You should learn this in school.. it's a valuable lesson.

Dogs can do so many things. They can play with you in the park, they can bring a smile to a young boy's face, they can grow up with someone and make the last years of their life as fulfilling as the rest...they can be your loyal companion in whatever you are facing... they don't judge, they can't see colors, disabilities or fat....and if you need them, they will guard you with their lives.
Making these creatures fight their brothers is not one is these things.

Do you eat meat? Because I don't really think there is a difference between killing for food vs. killing for fun. So if you eat meat, you are just as cruel as Michael Vick.
