Find out if she'll be truly hurt when she finds out you lied. If so, then I suggest break it gently and run, because that means you screwed up. If not, then tell her somehow (try sensitivity; don't say "Sorry I lied, hope you're okay with it." Say, "This is the truth, but I only twisted it because I cared about you," or something like that... only maybe better worded). If you want to, keep the relationship. If not, then it's done.
Don't settle for less than you deserve, though. Only you can really determine what you deserve.
Plus, this girl can't be so unbelievably brilliant if she thinks you're a professor when you type like that.
