I am planning activity for girls 3 to 5 and I am trying to find music that they are familiar with and can sing along to (i can supply lyrics). Specific songs if you can! thanx!

Probably Radio Disney stuff (Cheetah Girls, Hilary Duff)
I'm actually not familiar with Radio Disney,
but some fun "kid" songs might be:
"Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne
"Just the Girl" by Click Five
something by Ashley Simpson
Look at my source list...it is "Radio Disney Karaoke," they have amazing songs. Just the kind of thing you're looking for, with artists like Kelly Clarkson, Lindsay Lohan, and Aly & AJ.

You'll have to be carefull, because the songs that 3rd graders like will usually be considered "lame" by the 5th graders. I'm no expert, but, having a daughter myself, I'm guessing you'd have some luck with the "dance hits" that are popular on the radio...
