note: even the USC fans on here will agree that before USC or Nebraska played last week to start all of this up.. that I picked Nebraska OVER USC.. I think it'll be a close game and I think playing at home puts Nebraska over the top... we'll know more after they play Wake this weekend

No, USC wins. Don't be surprised if Nebraska is caught looking ahead and loses at Wake Forest on Saturday.
And I'd love to meet the reporters who "seriously think that USC could get killed" by Nebraska. The Trojans toned it down after the first quarter against the Vandals, else they could have hung 70 or 80 on Idaho. Besides, why give Nebraska a better chance to see what new wrinkles Carroll has put in?
USC by at least 10.

USC is definitely vulnerable, however, Nebraska is untested. Its easy for a decent team to beat-up on cup cakes, but eventually you have to play a team that actually has a defense. USC will be a much better challenge for Nebraska, but I hope Nebraska demolishes them. USC is soooooo overrated. Maybe a could thrashing from a Big 12 team will quiet all the talk from ESPN about USC being "America's College Football Team."

It seems to be the perfect recipe for Nebraska anyway. Coming off a lackluster performance against Idaho, getting a week off, and going into Lincoln to play a Nebraska team that has it's best team since 01.
USC has the talent, but hasn't had time to work out the obvious kinks. Meanwhile Nebraska ran all over Nevada (for 420 yds) and obviously has a great passing attack with Keller and one of the better receiving corps in the Big 12. They also get another warm up with another game to work out kinks. Nebraska will be as strong as possible, and USC will be as weak as they'll be all season. Like I said, a huge recipe for disaster for USC.
Now, my prediction before Nebraska plays Wake Forest is:
Nebraska 24
USC 21
It'll go to the wire for sure.

Being a USC fan, I'm scare of the match up with Nebraska, because by then the Huskers would have plays their 3rd games of the season and USC is playing in their 2nd games, but a long layoff will hurt USC. How can a team played 1 game and then have a bye, and then play a good team like the Huskers in a hostile environment in Lincoln, what a bad scheduling by the USC AD. If USC lose this year, it's this game against the Huskers, not the Cal, or UCLA game, this is a trap game against the Huskers in my opinion.

USC will wake up when it finds out what its up against....USC will play about 50 times better then against Idaho and win by about 10 pts or so....i know nebraska will come out and ready to play but they cant match USC athletes on either side of the ball

USC will beat them by ability of 35pts or greater. USC's QB is putting out to get this methodology further and extra, and with solid gamers by ability of his ingredient they'll tear Nebraska aside; they'll do the comparable with all their oponents. pass TROJANS!!!!
