that's how i read the question
(-2 [ (7 + 3) * 2] - 5^2) * 2 / 10
= (-2 [ (10) * 2] - 25) * 1/5
= (-2 [ 20] - 25) / 5
= (-40 - 25) / 5
= (-65) / 5
= -13

Multiply in parentheses.

Do exponent.
-2[20] - 25 x 2 ÷ 10 =
Multiply starting at left.
-40 - 25 x 2 ÷ 10 =
Do next multiplication.
-40 - 50 ÷ 10 =
Divide.
-40 - 5 = -45 <== answer
