I need help with this math problem?

Assume 50 men and women are randomly selected. Of these, 40% are men and 27 of the 50 persons read on a regular basis. Further, of the men, 15 do not read on a regular basis. Prepare a contingency table.

Does that mean there is 50 men and 50 women? Or just 50 all together?

50 all together - 20 men - so 30 women.

27 read - 15 men don't so 5 do read; 22 women read regularly; 8 don't
