This is a dicey issue. No matter what side you fall on, it seems that Chris Benoit's killing his wife and son might have had something to do the products of wrestling and at that point it may have been out of his control. Sure, he could have stopped wrestling and stopped doing headbutts, but I'm sure he didn't expect this to happen.... I don't really know what to say. Dragging his name through the mud just seems pointless. He's dead. It's like you're trying to punch a ghost. None of the hits are going to connect. Nothing's gonna come of it... On the other hand, if you celebrate him for all the stuff he did in the ring, people will be offended.... I wouldn't call him a monster... just a tragedy.

Most likely it was from both the headbutt and taking to many chairshots to the back of the head. It is believed that Beniot was suffering from undionosed cuncushon sndrome which is what lead one football player to kill himself and ended Chris Norwinski's ( iprobably misspelled the last name) wrestling career.
