I agree, but would substitute the word "wisdom" for "faith". True wisdom is above the mind. Here is an exercise to prove it to yourself:
You are invited to try this simple spiritual exercise. It has helped people of many different faiths open their hearts more fully to the uplifting presence of God.
To do the exercise, first get comfortable. Close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths. Next, gently put your attention on your inner visual screen, where daydreams and images come to you.
With your eyes closed, sing HU (pronounced like the word hue) as a song of love. There are many ways to experience the love of God. You may notice a feeling of peace, warmth, and comfort. You may also recognize the presence of the Divine through greater spiritual insights into your daily life.
When you sing HU and sit in quiet contemplation, you might also perceive the inner Light and Sound. The Light may appear as brightness or colors on your inner visual screen. The Sound may be musical or the sounds of nature, such as the wind or the ocean. However you experience the presence of God, it is bringing you a broader understanding of the life you lead.

Readers from all sides of the religion issue should look at this one more closely. It holds true for believers of almost all faiths as well as those that do not believe, doubt or are just holding out for some proof.
Faith is belief without logic or proof. You have faith that it is true beyond those items.
One side would say it is folly, the other would say it is revelation, but both should agree that the faithful did not get there via logic.
I like this question, thanks.

At first glance I agreed with the statement, but after thinking about it, I've changed my mind. It really depends on the definition of "faith". If it means - an unshakable belief in something that defies logic, then you really can't argue with the statement. There are, however other definitions of "faith"; a person can have faith in their friends, faith in their own abilities, faith in all sorts of things. I have faith in the scientific method. I have faith in logic itself. I believe that faith in these things has helped me reach the oasis of a relatively peaceful mind. Therefore, the statement does not hold.

Faith , which is not a simple belief but commitment of heart, is flowing from the Soul, Heart.
Where as caravan of logic is sprouting from Head, Mind.
Brain which is a bio-computer guiding us for survival of five plus one monkeys(Senses)
The moment the Truth is heard, smelt or felt, the mind loose its control and heart takes over.
Heart has the sole domain of Truth, Faith, Love.
Faith and Logic may co-exit but Logic will always try to assert itself till it is annihilated by Soul .

idiots will dive face first in the sand and the caravan will check out one or two so-called mirages and drink the sweet water from time to time. Its an arrogant metaphor that (unfortunately) suits bigots.
