I recently replaced my power supply and now everytime I turn on my computer, It frezzes on the blue HP start up screen or sometimes I get a error screen that says "Reboot and select Boot Media. What is wrong? and how do I fix it! I have a HP Pavilion, I bought it about 3 years ago, PLEASE HELP!! Thanks.

The Computer is a HP Pavilion and the PSU is also from HP, its 250 watts. Thats alll i know.

If you have the HP pavilion desktop, try running to BIOS update, to see if that clears up the problem, if not go into the BIOS and see what you have in the area of BOOT ORDER and select the Hard Drive as your first media to boot from and then save, exit and it should reboot. If it still gives the media error, then you may need to reload the OS.

Try reseating the connections especially the connector of the hard drive. Power ON, press Del or F2 to open BIOS menu. Load Fail safe defaults, save and exit.

If problem still persists, start backing up important files on a CD or other means when possible. Boot sector of your 3 year old hard drive may be about to fail.

maybe u forgat to plug somthing back in ... like the harddrive ... or u had the cables off and got the harddrive back on the wrong channel or location on the ribbon if its ide ..

Specs of your computer, and specs of your new PSU would be helpfull.
