does anyone know any site that has shapes of playdough and cute lil designs of it that i can actually teach kids to do ? and wont be hard? i am doing a volunteer work in an orphanage and i would like to teach kids with uncooked colored playdo some designs and cute figures and maybe animal shaped and other things to do , but i know few designs and not many , so id apreciate any site ud give me to put a smile on their faces ,thanks

There are some nice pictures on the web if you search "play dough art" but not really a "teaching" site i could locate. I recommend using cookie cutters, and just letting the kids have fun with the clay. You need to see what they can do before you start trying to give them direction anyway. A favorite clay game I used to play with my kids was "create a pet" I had them use the clay to create an animal real or imagined and then we would talk about it - it got bot their hand eye co-ordination going and their story telling skills. If you get a Video recorder and record each child telling the story the tape will be a sure fire favorite for all the kids for a very long time!
