Tom Brady. Peyton can brag all he wants and all Brady has to do is hold up his hand with all his Super Bowl bling to shut him up. I think he has one more ring comin then a shoo-in to the Hall.....greatest 6th rounder EVER uncontested.

The best and most under-rated player in the whole league is Champ Bailey. All the new stupid rules in the NFL are set up for the offense, specifically passing, to succeed. However, Champ Bailey is still a lock down corner. In the 2006 season, quarterbacks threw 34 passes to his man and he intercepted 10 of them. That is domination.
LT is also a great player and my favorite but there are several players in his position in the past that are better than him. Walter Peyton, Jim Brown, and Barry Sanders blow him away, although I think he will eventually surpass all of them by the end of his career. Same with Peyton Manning, there's Joe Montana, Dan Marion, Broadway Joe, Terry Bradshaw, Steve Young, etc. Correct me if I am wrong, but Deion Sanders is the only CB i can think of who dominated WRs like Champ Bailey does.

Easily LT. He plays at one of the most important positions in football & gets it done like no other. He can do everything pass, block, run, & catch. He is the youngest to reach 100 TD's & gets better every year. if he does it again he will break 30 TD's. he gets it does & brings his players up & they play for him too. No player is overall better then this man or is a better leader. & i dont want to hear about Bush (recieving RB not a runner) being anywhere as good in a couple years.

You have to go by position you cant just say the best player overall. QB Brees or Hasselbeck this season....not manning.
RB Tomlinson most likely WR SteveSmith when hes healthy. TE Vernon Davis will be the best if he can stay healthy for a season. Thats just offense though

P. Manning, will hold just about every QB record ever, he can even break Favre's most consecutive game streak. he is already past 125..you never know. Favre needs to retire, trying to break records that will be broken 5 years late if not earlier. Manning hands down.

In my oppinion, the GREAT ventren HINES WARD is the most versatile and best just ahead of L.T.
He can play QB, RB, WR, return punts and kickoffs or DB AND Punts too.
What more can you ask for?
Troy Brown was a great punt returner, kickoff returner, All Pro WR and played an excellent DB, so he deserves a nod
does that answear it?

Brett Favre is the best player and the most crucial player to put points on the board. Every year he never fails at that even when he has noone to throw to.
