When I was 12 my Mom gave me this enormous book to read, called Great Expectations. I read it and loved it. Then late one Saturday night she woke me up to watch a special movie, as the black and white movie unfolded the title read "Great Expectations". I said there's a movie!!!!!
They remade it a few times, go rent it.

It is a very enjoyable book. Though it depends on what version of it you read the ending is not a classic Dicken's happy ending. Making this book one of is most pessimistic books, but as an optimistic person I truly loved this piece of literature. There are several movie versions as well, not just the modern day one. I have not seen this one, but I have seen the 1946 movie and 1999 Masterpiece Theater television version and both were remarkably close to the book. (Though of course things were adapted and excluded). All in all, if you like an enveloping love story, some moral battles, and a few gut-wrenching twists and suspense then I highly recommend Dickens' Great Expectations.

Go buy the Cliffs Notes version if you're too lazy to read a good book.

**added after the first post: if you already read the book, skim through and find the answer. Don't sell yourself short by cheating.**

If you have a reading prob, that's all the more reason to try harder to get it. It'll make it easier to do these assignments in the future.

Try getting the cliff's notes, & reading it w/ the book; chapter by chapter.
