Alice Cooper - Flush the Fashion tour 1980? He was so wasted, he couldn't even stand back up after he had fallen down! All this only 20 minutes into the show!!
Eventually fans got a partial refund a week or so later.
That night the crowd was ready to kill!
Another bad concert was Nazareth in or around 1984. By this time the band had had their moment in the spotlight, and resorted to playing smaller venues. The lead singer 'Dan McCafferty' could barely sing, and around a half hour into the show there was a fire! The show was held in an agricultural center in a farming community! There was a foot of hay and straw all over the ground too, that may have been a lethal combination right there! Lots of smokin' goin' on that night! Haaa!
I also remember seeing Alvin Lee of 'Ten Years After' fame in the mid 70's with his solo band. They were out of tune, and the sound mix was god awful and distorted. We walked out, and returned for the other band they were billed with called 'Gentle Giant' and they were brilliant!

i've got had an superb time at each stay overall performance i've got been to. For the two The Fray and Tyler Hilton, i replaced into front row which constantly makes for a great adventure. I observed Backstreet Boys over the summer it is something i've got had to do considering approximately 2d grade, so as that replaced right into a exciting time to hearken to the song I grew up with. and that i observed dying Cab For Cutie with Rogue Wave over the summer and it replaced into surprising. they're 2 of my famous bands, so I had an superb time. i assume Fall Out Boy could be my worst because of the fact we did no longer have large seats and we had to stand in line the pouring rain till now.

Firefall?!? "You are the Woman" lol some of the worst concerts: Death Cab For Cutie (I just find them boring, but they shared a headlining gig w/ Franz Ferdinand who were great). I found Coldplay boring too, but Fiona Apple who opened up was great! Reba McIntyre- just mercilessly corny. Secret Machines weren't very good & I liked them (at least on record), but they just were disconnected from the audience & their songs just sounded like one long boring jam. Evanescence, it was the last stop on their 2004 tour & Amy Lee's voice was a mess & they kept having problems w/ their sound system.

That would be easy. Boston. I was never a fan, their performance was lackluster and my friend's car broke down so we were stuck in the Alpine Valley parking lot all night. YUCK.
LMAO at Firefall. Who could forget their classic "You Are the Woman?" Now there's some great AM radio.

It was a concert in... Milwaukee, I think it was. Anyhow, the bands weren't bad, it's just that I was sitting in an outdoor amphitheater (with no covering overhead) and it started to really POUR about 20 minutes into the concert. We had to leave. I was drenched. But hey, at least we stuck around long enough to see the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Ozzfest 2007 in Albuquerque. Not only were there a string of lame bands but also some of the worst price gouging I've ever seen ($5 for a bottle of water).

I've had to sit through some pretty rough ones...
The worst one was probably this festival I went to mainly to see Stabbing Westward, however bands like Good Charlotte, 3 Doors Down, and American Hi-Fi were playing too... and they played first, so I had to make it through all that and then some till SW came on.
I'm surprised that you guys had negative experiences with A Perfect Circle and Snake River Conspiracy, I thought they were great. Actually SRC opened for APC at one show I went to.

Oh God, this has to be Blink 182. And I really really liked them. But live, they sang out of tune, and couldn't stay with the music. Luckily, Green Day opened for them, and that was AWESOME. :o)
Aww, Firefall, really??? They were bad? I love Cinderella. That's by them, right?

Metallica on the "Black Album" tour...billed as "An Evening With Metallica". There was no opening act, only a probably 20-25 minute video about the tour. VERY BORING!! I was ready to leave about a half hour into their set. That was when I finally turned my back on them.

It was an opening act for Reverend Horton Heat called Nashville Pu$$y - UGHHH! They were wretched!
They were so bad that they destroyed my enthusiasm to see the rest of the show : ( well, maybe not entirely but I can't emphasize how nauseating their performance was.
see for yourself...
