The mounds contain homes for the insects. I am 11 years old and im using my mommys email. please help me. This is the only one im stuck on.

I believe that "homes" is the predicate for the verb "contains".

the simple verb word is the predicate.

here are some exzmples:

The worms ate dinner at 4pm Simple pred: ate
I felt very worried that Mr Skinner fell asleep so early. SImple predicate: felt worried.

All the rest of the words are other things
So now figure it out in YOUR sentence.
