how long should i expect my bleeding 2 last for because after i gave birth 2 my son i had 2 have stitches internal and external i was breast feeding but now stopped since yesterday

congrats on ur new baby!was advised by my midwife that if i was still bleeding at 6 weeks to go c the GP but mine stopped at 4 weeks. i refused stitches mind u so that will affect it differently.u don't say how old baby is so hard to predict . as for stomach muscles, well i don't think mine will ever be normal(they weren't to start with tho!!)- takes a good few months i believe.

Stomach muscle takes many months... But your uterus contracts 4 to 6 weeks and the bleeding can stop for some women at 2 weeks or 6 weeks and sometimes then they go off for a wk and there regular period will start..
