I like the year 2000 so i want to know more about it

Well, the first news that happened was that Y2K scare didn't happen. So a lot of IT people lost their jobs because they were done with the programming project.
And we were still reeling from the most controversial presidential election results in recent history.

My son, Peter was born on 3/1/00, just missed Leap Day.

well in sep 9 the twin towers in NY were blown up. Two air planes crashed into the buildings.Also a funny thing is 1999 new year eve every one thought the world would exsplode.People thought there would be to many zeros and that would mess up every thing.

George Bush was elected in November (ahem, no comment!) and there was the huge celebration on New Years for the new millenium. It was a year before the WTC/Pentagon attacks.
