I have taken two at home and both positive but urine test at health department was negative, they wouldn't give me a blood test, I have to wait 2 weeks to go back. Just wondering what my odds are...........? thanks

my friend just recently had a false positive. I understand that can be fairly common. Also, it depends on how dark the line is that is giving you the positive.

Yes I had that happen 2 times I thought I could be pregnant took the test said I was so i went to my doctor and she said I was not pregnant.

Yeah, and it scared the hell out of me. But my period came a couple days later, so I don't know what to tell you. Usually, I would say go with what the doctor says, but in your case, I'm not sure.

From what I've heard, you can have false NEGATIVEs, but NO false positives.
