Lifehouse is not a Christian band. They used to play at a church when they were younger, but that's about it. They have said in a few interviews that they are not a Christian band, and they certainly don't want people to view them as one.

Last thing I heard about Lifehouse is that they always where a Christian band that crossed over into the pop charts every once in a while.

They have always been a Christian band, they are now becoming more mainstream. There are a lot of bands that are Christian that you wouldn't think of Switchfoot is one too.
