You left out the height H of the counter, so you get an algebraic expression instead of a numerical answer.
Time T to fall to the floor = sqrt(2H/g)
A) hor. vel. Vx = 1.40/T
B) vert. vel. Vy = -gT. Angle theta (with respect to +x axis; positive = counterclockwise) = arctan(Vy/Vx).
