8,200 tens is 82,000

A number written in standard form is written in the form A x 10^n, where A lies between 1 and 10, and n is an integer, that is, a whole number, so,

82,000 in standard form is:

8.2 x 10^4.

Hope this helps, Twiggy.

Well, I'm not sure of the question. I've never heard numbers being called 'standard' form. If you want to know how you write it out, then it would be Eight thousand two hundred.
