Your right all gifts are free but if you run a store and you want to get someones attention put the word free in front of it!
it's just a marketing scam!

If a gift is linked to a promotion eg: buy this toothpaste and recieve a free toothbrush, the you are probably paying for the toothbrush. So no, not all gifts are free.

you a get a gift at say your birthday, but when there is no occasion say a free product it is considered a free gift
