Well, numerous college teams have good shots to do it. Penn State or Wisconsin in the Big 10, Texas in the Big 12, Rutgers, Louisville, or West Virginia in the Big East, USC or Cal in the Pac-10, and either Hawaii or Boise State in the WAC.
In the Pros, it is extremely unlikely, though I think the most likely choice would be the Ravens. They have a soft schedule early in the season (after the opener on Monday against Cincinnati, they've got the Jets, Rams, Browns, 49ers, Cardinals, and Bills prior to their bye week). Then they return from bye week to play Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. Then they go into what appears to be a tough stretch against San Diego, New England, and Indianapolis. However, San Diego is coached by Norv Turner (the worst head coach in NFL history) and Indianapolis has no run defense (they are even more depleted than last year). Then they finish with Miami, an overrated Seattle team, and Pittsburgh. If they win the opener, they could go into their bye 7-0. If they can finish the sweep on Cincinnati and beat Pittsburgh for the 4th straight time (shouldn't be too hard since they blew out the Steelers twice last year during the 2nd half when Pittsburgh was otherwise 6-0), they could go into New England at 11-0. If they beat New England, they could make it to 15-0 before they have a game against Pittsburgh for the perfect regular season. Then they only have to win 3 playoff games to finish it off.
Last season, the Bears nearly went undefeated (Rex Grossman's incompetence cost them that opportunity). The Ravens are similar in alot of ways to Chicago. They are a division winner with a dominating defense (however, the Ravens do have far more depth on defense than the Bears), an offense that has been revamped (Chicago had holes in their passing game, which Grossman initially filled until he started throwing games away; Baltimore's running game was awful last year because Jamal Lewis was washed up, but they've brought in Willis McGahee, one of the NFL's best RBs, but he was never happy in Buffalo and needed a change of scenery), an underrated WR corps (the Bears had a veteran in Muhsin Muhammad and a young stud in Bernard Berrian; the Ravens have a veteran in Derrick Mason and 2 young studs in Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams, not to mention having 2 of the NFL's best TEs in Todd Heap and Dan Wilcox). The Ravens are also a division winner who is not given the respect which they deserve (the Bears were written off as a fluke 2 years ago, just as the Ravens were last year). The Ravens have the coach who coached both the best offense of all time (he was coordinator of Minnesota in 98) and the best defense of all time (coach of Super Bowl Champion Ravens in 2000) and their defensive coordinator Rex Ryan is the son of the defensive coordinator of the 1985 Bears (Buddy Ryan), who made a serious run at a perfect season.
In the pros, the team with the most likely chance of a perfect season is Baltimore. Nobody else has the kind of talent they do at every position (of course, New England is the favorite to win the Super Bowl, but they are no better than a 14-2 team). It is entirely plausible that the Ravens could be perfect at the end of this season, though the odds are most likely that they'll win 13-15 games. However, they have the potential to be one of those all time great teams that we'll remember 30 years from now.

Definitely not in the NFL, but there are possibilities in college...even with a soft schedule it's never easy to go undefeated. Who know what injuries or "upsets" are lurking around the corner!
LSU has their toughest games at home and their defense makes it a very good possibility of running the table.
Louisville definitely has the offense to do it and their defense is tough too. Get past West Virgina and they should be okay...
Hawaii too has the offense to go all the way and has an underrated defense. A soft schedule makes them the most likely undefeated team this year. They do have to get past Boise State though and I believe this year is their best opportunity to do it.
So there it is, LSU, Louisville, and Hawaii. As rare as it may seem, I'm projecting 3 perfect seasons this year.

I believe whoever wins out of Hawaii and Boise State will go undefeated, that should be an amazing game! But I really like Wisconsin and West Virginia's chances of going undefeated. I know I'm stretching, but I see them playing for a national championship. I don't think LSU or USC will go undefeated in their respective conferences.

In college yea, lots of teams do it every year.
In the NFL, though I'd love to say the Saints, it's too hard to say, also that depends if we're talking regular season and post season, or just regular season, because undefeated all through post season hasn't been done since Miami waayyyy back in the day.

there are a few teams at the collage level that can do it like USC but at the pro level I would say no. Only one team has ever done it in the pros and that is when not only where there less games and no salary cap but the playes now days are bigger faster and all around better players. and on any given Sunday anyone can win. look at the raiders they got 2 wins last year and they were BAD

Not in the pros. If your 13-0 or 14-0 you have probably clinched everything you could clinch, so you wont play your starters too much in the final two weeks. I don't see any team going undefeated in the pros its too competitive.

No I don't think any team in NFL has the ability to go undefeated this year. There are just to many power house teams this year. I am sorry but I am not up on college enough this year to say if there is a team there to do it. But good luck to you and your team! Go Cowboys!

I would say that the most likely would be WVU, Louisville, or Rutgers. One of those schools will come out undefeated. I'm hoping its the Mountaineers.
