a dose of healthy exercise in the morning . Like they said their were going too. I guess they just enjoy having your kids medicated and over weight. It's easier to control kids like that.

Is any of your kid's schools do this ,yet?

Sorry , i just got a note from my 6 yr old's teacher and she wants to talk about him not sitting in his seat all day long.
They are kids ,not adults.

I do have 5 other children and i'm not new to this issue .

Again Are your school doing anything about this ?

GOD BLESS

You must be in a city or town. Most kids out here have already had quite a bit of exercises before school. And after. Try oatmeal and toast with a bit of iodized salt sprinkled on the toast to ward off over activeness. Fifteen minutes of light exercises at home never hurt. What get up that early? Did you know that some kids get up at 4:20 AM and don't get back home until around 4:30 PM? Then Band/Sports chores and homework. Gym class is a place where people shower together and some parents are beginning to catch on to what goes on in there.

A few years back a girl was stuffed into a trash can after gym class. And when she protested a fight broke out in which she was beaten to the point of bleeding and nothing was done by the authorities. Despite the two against one.

You'll not get me to defend gym class or the teachers of it. If a good athlete beats someone up they get away with it.

Gym class is a good place for bullying, and unwanted same sex activity.

Its called after school in the yard instead of in front of the computer/television.

Even a 10 minute walk around the neighborhood is better than nothing, especially if you have a chubby puppy on a leash to match.

When I was in school, we had physical education and recess for that. Well, in middle school, we stopped having recess, but we still had gym. After that, I got quite a bit of activity walking around in the halls in between classes.
