I'm starting the school year, and a pre-calculus class, and have run into a few problems with things i never really understood last year. any help on how to simplify these crazy polynomial fractions would be very appreciated

that equation cannot be simplified unless you forgot to put in some parentheses somewhere.

equations like...

2x^2 + 8x - 6 can be simplified by taking the highest common denominator of each term out so the above equation would become...
2(x^2 + 4x - 3)

equations like...
x^2 + 4x + 4 can be simplified because they are perfect squares..meaning that above equation can be simplified to...
(x+2)(x+2)

First, distribute the destructive signes in front of the 2d & third instruments. (x^2-11x+4) + (2x^2-2x+6) + (-x^2-6x+5) Now do away with the parenthesis and combine like variables (ie. only upload x^2's jointly and only upload x's jointly.) 2x^2 -19x +15 it is your anser.

You are not going to be able to simplify that by factoring. You are going to have to go to your quadratic equation to solve that problem.
