Should be OK. But the issue is really whether you're changing the computer that you're connecting to. That may require reformatting the iPod (an iPod can work on a Mac or a PC but not both), or dumping the content to sync with the new computer.

yes it would... They're made in the same place, but shipped Out to different countries/.// Although replacement parts are hard to find. My Brother's IPod is from an American Website. he found that when the headphone's port wasnt connecting properly, the Jack is different to the jack on Our IPods.

The gadget will work, but the power pack won't. You need a stepdown transformer to convert 240 volts British mains power to 120 volt US standard.
