multiply the numerators: 3x6 = 18, and the denominators: 5 x 7 = 35. Take the quotient of these: 18/35. This is in lowest terms so that's the final answer.

I am not the best at math but I think this is right. First find two common denominators that both 5 and 7 go into and it is 35. So 3/5 * 6/7= 21/35 * 42/35 = 63/35 This is an improper fraction and you need to change it to a mixed number and 35 goes into 63 one time leaving you 28 So the fimal answer would be 1 28/35. Good Luck!

It's easy. :)
Multiply the numerator by the numerator (top number).
Multiply the denominator by the denominator (bottom number).
So 3 x 6 = 18
And 5 x 7 = 35
= 18/35
Ta-da!

First, find a common factor for the denominators. In this case, the answer is thirty five. You then take the five, multiply it by the six, and you have that half of the problem done (30/35). Then, do the same to the other side (you should get 15/35). I hope this helps!
If not, http://www.themathpage.com/ARITH/multiply-fractions-divide-fractions.htm can explain it as well.

= 3/5 * 6/7
The product of the numerators & denominators constitute the new numerator and the new denominator, respectively, of the new fraction.
= 18/35
