"Victory at Sea". It is the greatest documentary about WWII ever made. The music score, by Richard Rogers, is classic. It is 26 episodes, about 13 hours, a four disc set. It was made for TV in 1952 and reruns went into the 90s. May still be some going on. Even if you are not into WWII, as I am, it is a great history lesson.

I am not sure if it is on DVD but i remember watching this one about these kids at this school who started collecting paper-clips...

"The Paper Clips Project is a project by middle school students from the small southeastern Tennessee city of Whitwell who created a monument for the Holocaust victims in Nazi Germany. It started in 1998 as a simple 8th-grade project and evolved into a project gaining worldwide attention. At last count, over 30 million paper clips had been received. Paper Clips, an award-winning documentary film about the project, was released in 2004 by Miramax Films."
