Are you kidding? Michigan plays in the little 10....aka Big 10. All the supposed "experts" expected Ohio State to have the heads of the University of Florida (SEC!) football team on a silver platter. The South Eastern Conference, consistently has the best football conference top to bottom in the nation.
Therefore to get real. How can anyteam that doesn't play in the South Eastern Conference claim to be the best in the nation?
Look at the all time SEC Bowl record against all the other conferences....see the truth if you can handle the Truth.

I didnt think Michigan had a chance when the ratings first came out. To tell you the truth, I wasnt as surprised as I might have been any other year a top 10 team would have lost its first game. Michigan really had lost way too much depth and starting talent to deserve the high rating they initially recieved. I hate to say it, but USC looks like a champion again, not that I dislike the Trojans Im just not particularly fond of them.

No chance at all now. I still don't like the way the media is piling on Michigan for 1 early season loss. Sure it was a bad loss but Michigan can still contend for the big 10 title.

What championship? The big ten - yes. Since this game did not count. The national championship - NO WAY. Even if they beat everyone by 40 pts....you can't be the national champion if you got beat by a division 1AA school.

Zero.
Even if they go 12-1 and win the Big 12, they won't be invited to the BCS title game.

Yes, if everybody else has 2 losses and they win out, there will be a chance.
That will not happen though.
