Well, then, study it!
I'm not sure what's wrong with an interest in political, social, or economic philosophy. At best, you learn something useful; at worst, well, you read something while you're interested in reading it.

You were taught by Mom ? What about school and lifes experiences ? What have they taught you ? Everyone has odd thoughts, it is natural. It is what you do with that thought that may be of concern. Maybe you feel you should have broken away from mom by now. As far as not recognizing them it shows that your are creative not dangerous.

it's a good thing!
you have an open mind and are aware of the world you.
it's good to be your own person and the things taught by your parents are important should be honored, but you have to be yourself.
if you have interest explore them and learn more. be active in government.
i think because of the way things are being run right now it's important for this younger generation to take action and to educate themselves in politics and alternative ideas!

Hey! We all have weird thoughts. The trick is not to act upon them. Understand that you can't control your random thoughts but you can control your behavior. So, long as you don't act on your impulse to smash things and institutions you will be fine. As you age these thoughts will recede and others will take their place.
There are still hills to climb,
New trails to cut and
Dreams not yet lived.

more than likely you are just stressed, or in a time in your life where you are going through changes (like maybe late high school or college).
but it could be paranoid schizophrenia for all I know from what little you have told me.
If it bothers you.. see a councilor and get a professional opinion.
