set y1 = 6-2x
set y2 = 6x+18
Set widow and press GRAPH.
The intersection of the two lines give the answer

I got it to solve the equation but havent found how to order a graphing of it yet, although I'm sure it will work.

if you have a ti-83 or 84 its easy. just hit the y= button.
enter the equations. hit graph button. You should see the graphs intersect. hit 2nd Trace then select intersect and that is your x value
