A leader is a good motivator, and can encourage others to help him get things done the right way. A bully is just a punk who thinks he's tough and wants to push others around by insulting them and picking on them.

A leader is often the reason a bully becomes a bully. It's the person who gets the bully to pick on others, so the leader doesn't get in trouble the bully does.

Well.....
A leader in my opinion is someone who is willing and able to take the reigns, but still be courteous, and thoughtful to others, and their feelings. A leader is also willing to take responsibility for their actions.
A bully is someone who pushes people around because they can, and enjoy being BOSSY, RUDE, and OBNOXIOUS. A bully finds that everyone else is the problem and takes no responsibility.
BIG DIFFERENCE!!

A leader leads people/ helps them understand things also a leader doesn't boss people around saying "do this do that". A bully is a person who likes to see people unhappy so they bully you (steal things from you, pick on you, tell you what to do).

I think the difference is how they make you feel. Do you feel like the person takes initiative and likes to make decisions etc. or do you feel bad when they ask/tell you to do something? I think it's all in the interpretation. If you feel like you are being bullied, you have to stand up for yourself. If you are a leader, you can not always take to heart how a non-leader responds to you. You may need to adjust, as to not make anyone uncomfortable.

A leader earns respect, a bully demands it.
A good leader can control bullies but bullies cannot control good leaders.

A leader makes everyone feels as if they too can be a leader. A bully has to use violence or negativity because they aren't smart enough or compassionate enough to realize everyone has a contribution to make!

a bully gives orders and is bossy and only wants things done their way. A leader takes control, but still listens to other peoples opinions, and tries to make the best decisions that make everyone happy.
