The sum of all the angles in a triangle is 180°, and you know
that A = 4B and C = (B-20°). So in terms of angle B we can
say: B + 4B + (B-20°) = 180° or 6B - 20° = 180°
Then 6B = 200° or angle B = 33°20' or 33 1/3 degrees
Angle A is 4 times that or 133°20' and angle C is 20° less
than that, or 13°20'
Just to check, add them all up and the sum is 180°.

The following is given: Angle a = 4 times angle b.
Angle c = angle b minus 20
Angle a + angle b = angle c = 180

Substituting: 4b + b + (b - 20) = 180

Solve for angle b: 6b - 20 = 180; therefore, b = 33.333 degrees.

Angle a is 4 times 33.333 or 133.333 degrees.

And angle c is 13.333 degrees.

You have a triangle therefore a + b + c = 180 and you know that a = 4b and c = b - 20

4b + b + b - 20 = 180 or 6b = 200
b = 100/3
a = 400/3
c = 40/3

Think of this algebraically;

[1] a=4b,
[2] c=b+20,
[3] a+b+c=180.

sub 2 into 3 to get a+2b=160
then sub 1 into this to give 6b=160, so you have b, from which you can get the rest.

b+4b+ b-20 = 180
6b = 200
b = 33 1/3 degrees
a = 4b = 133 1/3 degrees

c = b-20 = 13 1/3 degrees

4b+ b + (b-20)=180 ,then 6b = 200
b= 33deg. 20min. then a= 133deg. 20min. ,c=13deg. 20min.
