I stayed in Campos do Jordao in Brazil. The city's economy is based mainly in tourism; due to its location at high elevation (on the Mantiqueira mountains) and European-looking architecture. Buildings are mostly German, Swiss or Italian inspired. Loved it!

Massanutten. Great in summer or winter. I loved the hiking and the resort amenities. Also the surrounding area is full of stuff to do.

I went to Mont Tremblant in Quebec for one night in the middle of winter. I was really sick but I still found it fun!!! :)
You should go in summer tho because snow is cold.
Bring hot potatoes!

Lake Louise in Banff, Canada. It is beautiful there. I think that the name of the hotel is....Hotel Lake Louise.
