I'm 14 and I have a heavy period that lasts for 7 days and I was wondering if there was a way to make it shorter. Please help me.

Exercise! I was a couch potato at 14 (actually, I was a computer potato), and I had a heavy, annoying flow that lasted 6-7 days! Last year I started a workout program (2 hours a day, 5 days a week) and my period shortened to 3-4 days. It's still really heavy flow, but it's over quickly.

Somtimes going on the Pill can help with Heavy periods....

I myself was put on them from a young age, But now when I have a period I dont actually bleed until 4 days into my period, them i have REALLY heavy bleeding the last 2-3 days, which is hell.

I would talk to your mum or your doctor about trying the pill... It might help.

Birth control pills are used to manage severity and length of young girls periods. Talk to your mom, or someone you trust, and see if you can get into the doctor to discuss things.
