y-y1=m(x-x1)

m is the slope
x1 is the x coordinate from the point
y1 is the y coordinate from the point

now just solve for y and you have your line.

The equation of a line passing through (a,b) and with slope m is given by :
y-b=m(x-a). ANS.

Let (a,c) be the point and m = slope
Then y = mx +b
To find b substiture c for y and a for x getting:
c = ma +b
So b = c-ma
So the equation becomes y=mx+c-ma
